All year long, the teachers, administrators, and staff at Turner County Middle School have been encouraging our students to do their very best on the upcoming Georgia Milestones Assessments in April. Now, we want to include an extra special touch—encouragement from you! 💙
We’re asking family members to take a few moments to write a letter of encouragement to their student. These letters will be printed and shared with students as they begin testing, giving them a boost of motivation and a reminder that their family is cheering them on every step of the way!
Your support makes all the difference, and we’re grateful for all you do to help our students succeed.

🌟 Turner County Middle School Participates in Statewide Day of Service 🌟
Turner County Middle School proudly partnered with Turner County 4-H to participate in the Statewide Day of Service led by Georgia’s 2026 Teacher of the Year, Rachel Kinsaul, on March 18, 2026. This initiative, supported by the Georgia Department of Education, encourages schools across the state to connect classroom learning with meaningful community service while building civic responsibility and real-world skills.
Our students and staff embraced this opportunity to give back in several impactful ways:
❤️ Creating and delivering heartfelt cards to local nursing home residents and veterans
🌎 Picking up trash across our school campus to help keep our environment clean and beautiful
Through service-learning experiences like these, our students are learning the importance of kindness, leadership, and community involvement while making a positive difference right here in Turner County.
