Creepy Carrots adaptation read aloud:
Mrs. Goulden's class enjoyed a read-aloud of the Creepy Carrots with sound effects provided by NovelEffect web based app. The purpose of the lesson was to consider the traits of horror when it is applied to stories based on the audience. The students had to analyze how the traits were adapted for the psychology of a younger audience. Then the students chose a horror based children's story and created a movie poster for the book that incorporates foreshadowing for the events in the story.
